Our Favorite Green Jadeite Jade Jewels

Say the term “jade,” and most anyone associates the color green with the jewel. In fact, jadeite jade is not only green but also pink, white or blue. Of course, green is the most prominent color and a variety of Mesoamerican cultures have made it legendary by using the material to create weapons. We have put together a selection of our favorite green jadeite jade jewels that we believe are the most breathtakingly beautiful in our inventory.

1920s Art Deco Jadeite Jade and Diamond Hinged Dangle Earrings

You can count the occasions that certified untreated, and un-dyed, jadeite jade pieces come on the market on the fingers of one hand. These pieces are just that. Set in platinum that shows off the design elements of the Art Deco era, two cabochon-cut pieces of jadeite jade weigh 16.50cts and 16.22cts respectively. To bring sparkle to the mix, artisans added two old-mine-cut diamonds weighing a combined 1.21cts as well as 24 round diamonds with a collective weight of .24cts.

Vintage Retro Art Deco Seven-Stone Jadeite Jade Necklace

Jewelry makers designed this necklace in the Retro Art Deco style. It features seven jadeite jade stones that do not show any color enhancement. Artisans used 14k pink gold to frame the pieces and green gold to construct the chain. At a length of 18 inches, this necklace is comfortable to wear and looks great. The focal or pendant stone is a green translucent piece that shows impressive carvings. The other pieces measure – in pairs – 23mm by 16mm, 21mm by 15mm, and 20mm by 14mm. Select this piece as a statement necklace or the focus of your jewelry ensemble. Its fantastic looks are sure to draw the eyes of anyone in the room.

1940s Jadeite Jade Ring in Gold with Diamonds

If you prefer your jadeite jade a bit on the darker, side, you are going to love this 1940s translucent piece. Cut into an oval and presenting with darker mottles, it features intricate carvings. Artisans set it in 14k yellow gold and added six round, full-cut diamonds, three on each side. The width at the bottom is 2.2mm, which is pretty much standard. At the top, the width measures 15.2mm; this shows that this is an ideally sized cocktail ring. This ring has a sophisticated quality and matches well with a variety of wardrobe choices. We would go so far as to say that it is easily the most attractive green ring that we have seen in a long time.
