Accessorizing your summer wardrobe with red colors can be a
challenge – unless you are a vintage jewelry aficionado. We have put together a
collection of pieces that are ideally suited to bring red hues to your
ensemble. Also, these pieces feature a floral motif, which is ideal for the
season.
Orange and White Coral Flower Pin with Turquoise
This is a 1950s Cellino original. It features a 14k yellow
gold stem and branches that hold ten white angel skin coral buttons measuring
5mm to 5.4mm. These opaque buttons accentuate the two carved orange to red
coral flowers that are completely natural. A half-round medium blue turquoise
bead measures 3.7mm and complements the white and reddish tones of the flower
pin. From top to bottom, the pin measures 62.69mm; its width is 43.55mm.
The detail work of these rose-shaped earrings is fantastic.
Coming from the 1940s, these are Krementz pieces. Artisans used 14k pink and
green gold to create realistic 3D designs of roses and leaves. Two round white
diamonds weigh a combined .07cts and form the centers of the flowers. The
earrings have a height of 19.49mm and a width of 13.02mm.
Choose this ring for a focal point of your jewelry wardrobe.
Like many a British jewel, the piece features 9k yellow gold. The oval cameo
displays red and white tones. The hand carvings are exquisite. At the top, the
width is 20mm; at the bottom, it tapers off to 1.40mm. The intricate working of
the gold frame surrounding the cameo draws attention to its good looks.
Another piece from the 1940s, this pendant starts with 14k pink and green gold. The bluish color of the 5.5mm opal makes the pink gold
appear much darker and actually take on red tones. The pendant measures 26.5mm
in length and 15.11mm in width. It is an attractive jewel that easily
accessorizes your wardrobe.
The red tones of the angel skin coral lean closer to orange hues with this jewel. Artisans used 14k yellow gold to create a variety of
leaves and stems that they then pierced for an interesting look. We date the
pin to the 1950s. The intricacy of the carving and piercing is eye-catching.
