For Dog Lovers: Mother’s Day Gifts from the Canine Fur Babies

After posting our entry for cat lovers, dog aficionados wanted to know what we have for them. Well, if you are “mom” to a canine fur baby, we have some adorable jewels that would make excellent Mother’s Day gifts for you. Feel free to forward this post to family members. Combine it with a hint at what they might get you for that particular Sunday.

Gold Labrador Retriever Pin

Who does not love a Labrador retriever? This 14k yellow gold three-dimensional pin is gorgeous. It shows the detailed depiction of the dog looking over its shoulder. Two emeralds, weighing a combined .08cts, represent the eyes. From top to bottom, the pin measures 44.55mm; from side to side, the measurement is 26.65mm.

1950s Spritzer and Furman Yellow Gold Dog Pin with Turquoises and Rubies

The artisans called this the party dog pin. It consists of 18k yellow gold and holds two bright-red rubies for the eyes. Five Persian turquoises are decorative touches along the multi-textured dog body. This pin has a height of 49.39mm and a width of 39.52mm.

Designer Springer Spaniel Pin Featuring Gold and Diamonds

This pin is an E. Wolfe Brittany original. It depicts a Springer spaniel made from 18k white gold. The artistry of this jewel is remarkable. Two round rubies weigh a combined .01cts and depict eyes. A total of 93 round diamonds weigh a collective 2.50cts and represent the white areas of the fur. From side to side, the pin measures 25.46mm; from top to bottom, it measures 28.16mm.

Matching Springer Spaniel Cuff Links by E. Wolfe Brittany

Accessorize the purchase of the pin by also buying these two cuff links. The ensemble looks great together when you wear a long-sleeved blouse. Also fashioned from 18k white gold, the cuff links display 70 round diamonds with a total weight of 5.60cts. Once again, there are four round ruby cabochons for the eyes.

Scottie Dog Quartz Crystal Cuff Links from the 1940s

If a Scottie has stolen your heart, you cannot go wrong with this set of cuff links. They depict a Scottie that is hand-painted on reversed carved crystal. Artisans set the latter in 14k yellow gold.

Boston Terrier Reversed Carved Quartz Pin from the 1930s

The quality of this hand-painted jewel is masterful. Set in 14k yellow gold, the quartz depicts a painting of a Boston terrier on a reverse-carved quartz cabochon. The lifelike rendition looks beautiful. This pin measures 16.24mm in height and 28.34mm in width.
