Vintage Green Victorian Jewels Make Perfect Christmas Gifts

Victorian jewelry refers to a class of exquisite gems that have withstood the test of time. In addition to getting unique pieces when you make a purchase, you also get the honor of owning a piece of history. With the Christmas holiday right around the corner, give a green Victorian jewel to the lady in your life. Peter Suchy Jewelers are proud to offer you a large selection of striking pieces.

Tennessee River Pearl Pendant with Peridot and Diamonds

This necklace uses 14k rose gold as the setting material. There are 30 old-cut diamonds weighing .20cts. The focal gemstone is a cushion-cut peridot weighing 1.0cts. The Tennessee River pearls add sophistication to the pendant. There is one 3mm pearl and two 6.5mm by 3.5mm pearls. A 15-inch platinum chain holds this gorgeous piece.

Emerald Bead Swivel Chain Necklace

Measuring a respectable 58 inches in length, the artisans chose 15k gold as the link and setting material. A total of 10 emerald beads weighting 3.0cts each are set at intervals. Because of the chain’s length, you can loosely drape it about three times around your neck. In the alternative, you can wear it longer. This piece offers a great deal of versatility.

Silver Top Pin with Beryl and Diamonds

The setting material is 14k solid yellow gold. We date this piece to about 1880. The untreated emerald is a rarity in the trade. A cushion cut gem weighs in at .30cts. An additional 10 mixed-cut emeralds add another .60cts. For the shine, there are four old-mine-cut diamonds weighing .26cts.

Diamond Ring with Natural Emerald

The cocktail ring features 14k rose gold. Made sometime between 1890 and 1900, this ring has a center emerald weighing .50cts, but it looks bigger. It is surrounded by 10 round rose-cut diamonds. This piece would beautifully accentuate a dark green dress or a red blouse. It easily becomes the centerpiece of a jewelry ensemble.

Jade Pendant in a Platinum Setting

We date this jadeite jade pendant to 1860. The gem is round and completely natural. It weighs .30cts. Forty-three rose-cut brown diamonds weigh .20cts. They bring color and sparkle to the table. A solitary old-mine-cut brown diamond weighs .03cts and offers a second focal point. The pendant hangs from a 16-inch cable link chain. This beautiful jewel looks stunning with a low-cut top, a cocktail dress or eveningwear.
