Give Her Vintage Designer Jewelry: Name Dropping is a Good Thing!

Designer jewelry is a wonderful gift idea for anyone on your list. Not only do you offer the recipient the best jewelry currently on the market, but you also give the gift of a long-standing tradition of excellence that is unique in that the artisan stands behind the piece by name. While there are plenty of recognizable names vying for your attention, Peter Suchy Jewelers offer an exquisite selection of pieces that represent the current cream of the crop.

Tiffany & Co. Gold Ring with Sapphire and Diamonds

The setting for this cocktail ring by Tiffany & Co. is 14k solid yellow gold. Made in the 1940s, this ring features a 4.90cts cushion-cut blue sapphire with purple hues. The gemstone has not been heat treated or enhanced. To add sparkle, the artisan added 14 round full-cut diamonds weighing .56cts. The ring has all the right stamps to identify it as a genuine Tiffany piece.

Van Cleef & Arpels Platinum Ring with Rubies and Diamonds

We trace this platinum dome ring to the Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry house of 1964. The ring has been inspected and authenticated. It features 16 blood-red rubies in emerald and baguette cuts. They weigh in at 3.0cts. The red of these stones is offset by the white of 23 round diamonds weighing 1.54cts. Give this ring as a gift and you are certain to get quite a bit of grateful attention in return.

Gregg Ruth Platinum Ring with Diamond Pave

Gregg Ruth artisans chose platinum as the setting material for a pave consisting of 72 full-cut diamonds weighing 1.0cts. The pave accentuates the ideal-cut center diamond, which weighs 1.65cts. An additional two round diamonds draw the eye’s attention to the center. They weigh .68cts. You have to see the intricate workmanship of this piece to believe it.

Martin Flyer Platinum Ring with Diamonds

Artisans from Martin Flyer made this platinum ring by hand. The setting cradles three ideal-cut diamonds. The center stone weighs 1.52cts while two brilliant-cut diamonds weigh .68cts. This is a perfect engagement ring and made to sit flush next to a wedding band. If you were to propose marriage with this showstopper, there is a good chance that she will say yes!

Tiffany Schlumberger Platinum and Gold Earrings with Diamonds and Blue Enamel

Made from platinum and 18k yellow gold, the designers have opted to create a stunning look with 34 full-cut diamonds weighing 2.0cts. To create the illusion of motion, the artisans have created flames with blue enamel. These clip post earrings were made in 1965. All the right stamps are in order to identify these pieces as genuine.
