Pink Gold Link Necklace by Pomellato

 

 

This lovely 17-inch pink gold oval link 18k chain necklace by Pomellato certainly fits in the chunky necklace category!

This vintage necklace is in excellent condition and at the tip contains one 12.00 carat soft pink quartz gemstone—lovely.

Vintage Untreated Aqua Crystal Necklace

 

 

We adore this vintage 505.00 carat natural untreated aqua crystal necklace with an 18k yellow gold catch. Each crystal is form drilled at the top and strung into this chunky-style necklace making this one eye-grabbing piece of jewelry. It contains 73 natural greenish, blue, and bluish green aqua stones and is 18 inches in length.

Yes, you read that right, there are 505.00 carats of untreated aqua in this necklace!

Vintage Citrine Stone Wire Necklace

 

Isn’t this vintage 6.50 carat genuine citrine eight-stone 18k yellow gold wire necklace one of the prettiest chunky necklaces you’ve ever seen? We think so.

This handmade necklace flows and each stone was hand-strung onto the 18k gold wire—right in the Peter Such Jeweler’s workshop. These collector stones have a carat weight of approximately 650 carats and the nine lacy gold stones really shine on this piece.

Vintage Five Cameo Carved Shell Necklace 

 

Yes, cameos are great for that chunky necklace-style look. This vintage five cameo 14k yellow gold carved shell necklace is from the 1940s.

Handmade, many of these kinds of cameos are extinct so we’re really proud to show this one off. The catch is a 1940s style box and has a safety locking device and this gorgeous necklace is 20-inches in length.

Vintage Gold Oval Link Pave Set Diamond Necklace 

 

 

This is one incredible chunky necklace circa 1950-1960. The white gold center contains three interlocking oval links (pave set) with a total carat weight of 4.00. Attached to the sides are 10 strands of handmade twisted wire creating a stunning contrast. We bet you love this vintage 20-inch necklace as much as we do—especially the 162 round diamonds!

Retro Art Deco McTigue Bow Rose Gold Chain Necklace

 

 

Last, but certainly not least on our list of our favorite chunky necklaces is this vintage retro art deco McTigue eight-bow rose gold 23-inch chain necklace.

We believe this to be from the 1940s and on Peter Suchy’s pink gold scale of 1 to 10, these stones score at between 3 and 4! McTigue sold man of his folded bow pieces to Tiffany, Yard, and Bailey Banks & Biddle and we can tell you this is one necklace that is in excellent condition and would look lovely on any neck.
