Doris Panos Jewelry: A Family History of Jewelry Makers

Doris Panos traces her roots to a family of jewelry makers. While her father may have moved outside of the family business, she stepped right back into the fold after earning her degree in business and marketing. Going through the apprenticeship process, Panos did not take any shortcuts. She painstakingly mastered the engineering and manufacturing techniques of modern jewelry makers as well as the gemology side of the business.

Panos went to work in the gemstone market and continued to hone her craft and understanding of the finely nuanced cuts and stones. Tackling the retail side of the business was easily accomplished by accepting positions with high-end jewelry sellers. Before long, her uniquely suited personality and hard training paid off and resulted in the creation of a personal line of coveted pieces.

At this time, Panos sells 13 collections. All pieces are available in rose gold as well as 18-karat white or yellow gold.

  1. Stackable Bangles. Featuring a number of lacy and solid designs, you can easily stack these three, 10 or 23 high. Mix and match designs for the best effect.
  2. Stackable Rings and Cuff Rings. Different designs give you the biggest bank for the buck. Keep it classy with three rings or go for the bohemian look with five or more.
  3. Broadway Cuffs. These dramatic pieces feature numerous stones and design elements. The uniqueness of the jewelry items as well as the execution of the pieces makes them stand out. They are best worn on naked arms with complementary fashions.
  4. Black Tie. These jewels are fit for a night at the opera or a swanky soiree. They are eye-catching and mark you as a woman of good taste who is not afraid to show off her affinity for fine things.
  5. Daphne Marquise. The detail work of these items is stunning. Multiple techniques show a high comfort level with the combination of settings and metal work.
  6. Cuffs. Choose a solid cuff or opt for the filigree work instead. Come across as a strong personality or as an ethereal free spirit. You choose.
  7. Cascade. Another example of Panos’ superior detail work. These pieces are for a night out on the town.
  8. Daphne Ring. Combine beautifully designed settings with nicely cut gems for the ultimate cocktail rings.
  9. Hoops. These are not your standard hoop earrings. Find seaweed-like designs and other intricate executions. Great for a casual or formal occasion, they are eye-catching.
  10. Diamond Rings. There is nothing dainty about these rings. They are beautifully designed with intricate patterns. Refined and well-sized, they bespeak your taste in fine jewelry.
  11. Layered Necklaces and Lariats. When you wear a low-cut dress, these necklaces are perfect. They showcase exquisite pearls and settings.
  12. Amore. These designs have a decidedly Mediterranean flair.
  13. Medussa. Imagine stylistically writhing snakes, and you get the idea behind this collection.
