Sylvie Levine is famous in America’s bridal design circles for her diamond jewelry collection that is aimed primarily at younger brides-to-be. That said, all of the collection pieces are completely customizable, which makes her compilation quite popular for anniversary gifts as well.

Born and raised in Belgium’s Antwerp, which is an international hub of the diamond trade, Levine grew up in a family heavily involved in the diamond business. Married to a South African also in the diamond business and operating out of the United States, Levine garnered a unique understanding of the industry’s business model that incorporates impeccable customer service with outstanding artisanship.

The Sylvie Bridal Collection primarily caters to a hip, sporty yet elegant clientele. Using platinum, and 18k yellow, white and rose gold for the settings, Levine’s designs are adaptable to diamonds or gemstones of all sizes and shapes. The initial collection dates back to 2007, when Levine and her husband first set out to separate a distinct group of bridal jewelry pieces from their general diamond jewelry business.

Its primary focus is on authenticity for a selected group of patrons. A secondary consideration is the availability of a wide array of options that make the Sylvie Bridal Collection attractive to shoppers with an extensive range of style demands and tastes. The high level of customizable factors further allows brides to make the collection pieces uniquely their own.

It is interesting note that there is a fair amount of artistic change that this collection has undergone since its initial conception. Twice a year, usually in January and in late spring, new pieces are added. Some changes only feature minor adjustments to artistry while other pieces are completely new and in step with the latest new modern styles. Levine credits her clients’ comments and requests for these new pieces as much as the changing styles of the jewelry business at large. At this time, her collection boasts more than 1,000 customizable pieces and more are still to come.

To adjust to recent economic changes, Levine has created gorgeous pieces for the buyer of engagement rings with a lower carat weight. Buyers looking to purchase smaller center diamonds will also be pleasantly surprised at the many options open to them. What sets apart these pieces of the Sylvie Bridal Collection is the attention to detail each piece receives. A $900 engagement ring receives the same care during the manufacturing process as a ring that retails for five times this amount. Inexpensive does not equal cheap for Levine.

Each piece has the classic “Sylvie” engraving on the inside, which identifies it as a unique part of the collection. Every engagement ring has a matching wedding band to complete the look after the nuptials. To this end, these bands are flush to fit easily against the engagement rings.
